Our focus at RLC is really simple and straightforward. We strive to raise cattle that excel on paper, in the pasture, in the feed yard, and on the plate. We prioritize good feet and legs, structural soundness, functionality, disposition, feed efficiency, performance, and phenotype. With every breeding decision we make, we are focused on how these matings will help you, our customer.

Our passion truly is the cattle business, and we believe there is no better way to raise kids than right at home on the ranch. Our four children, Scarlett (9), Thorne (7), Alexander (6), and Croix (5) work right alongside us in the family business, and it’s a joy to watch them grow in their understanding and excitement for this industry we all love.

As we look at our life’s work, we also believe that our passion for the cattle business must extend to a greater and deeper purpose outside of ourselves. With your purchase, our customers will receive a set of Amanda and Scarlett’s educational children’s books, to be donated to the school of your choice to further our reach to promote ag literacy in our nation’s youth!

At RLC, we still believe in the cowboy way — where your word is your bond, and your handshake is worth its weight in gold. We stand behind our cattle and will work with you on any issues, should they arise. We require a half-down deposit to hold your bull, and we will begin making bull deliveries or pickup arrangements after their breeding soundness exams in April. Volume discounts are available, as well. And new this year, we are offering the pick of our heifers!

In closing, we believe this is an exciting time to be in the beef cattle business. If you can withstand some of the external challenges threatening our way of life, the low cattle numbers in the U.S. indicate to us great opportunities ahead if you remain steady and stay the course. 

At RLC, we are razor focused on building our herd numbers and investing in the highest-performing genetics we can get our hands on. In the past year, we have expanded our business into the Angus breed, as well. We feel it is a great compliment to the Limousin breed, and it’s hard to beat a maternal LimFlex female!
